Building a strong corporate culture is one of the cores of business success. Many organizations strive for a culture that recognizes and embraces shared values, attitudes, standards, and beliefs that reflect the goals of the organization. At Three Wire, our internal culture centers around the philosophy of team, life, and community. We endeavor to lift each other up, and to encourage each other to look for opportunities to do good for and by others. Generosity and kindness are principles we aim to practice on a regular basis.
Recently, we launched a Random Acts of Kindness campaign in our offices across the country, to see how we might positively contribute to the communities we live and work in, and perhaps inspire others to “pay it forward.” Each day, for five days, we challenged employees to carry out five “nice” things that would benefit someone else.
To help in generating some ideas, we provided staff with a week’s worth of simple recommendations for quick-and-easy ways to make an impact on someone else’s day. For example:
