Three Wire Systems, LLC Awarded Work on $5.5B Air Force IT Contract

FALLS CHURCH, VA. (PRWEB) DECEMBER 02, 2019

Three Wire Systems, LLC is proud to announce the veteran-owned and operated technology company has been selected as one of 75 vendors in a new Air Force IT contract, which is expected to total $5.5B in work over the next five years.

The Second-Generation Information Technology, or 2GIT, contract will include work in data center infrastructure, devices, network hardware and radio equipment. The contract was opened to vendors in anticipation of the expiration of NETCENTS-2, a General Services Administration (GSA) contract that expired on November 4, 2019. As one of 56 small business vendors awarded work, the IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contract will give Three Wire Systems an opportunity to provide a variety of custom services and solutions in all areas, including Cyber Security, Life Cycle Management and IT Modernization.

“I couldn’t be happier with the work of our team – their dedication and hard work in preparing a compliant and winning proposal cannot be overstated,” said Gregory Feldman, president of Three Wire Systems. “Receiving an award like this is not only an encouraging validation that we’re a trusted advisor to the federal government, but a pillar of opportunity to grow upon and learn from, allowing us to bring cybersecurity and innovative technologies to those serving our country.”

The Department of Defense will be the main beneficiary of 2GIT. However, the contract is government-wide, and therefore, available to the entire federal government for both products and services. Read more about 2GIT and see the full list of vendors awarded work here.

2GIT is a great addition to Three Wires’ portfolio of technology contracts, which includes NASA SEWP V, CIO-CS, GSA Schedule 70 and GSA GSS for laptops and desktops.
